My Children's Picture Books (Upcoming)

Here is a sneak preview of a few of the children's books I have written and am in the process of trying to get published.

FRANCESCA'S GIFT

Wearing an Italian symbol of good luck, Francesca is seen as an outsider and bullied. Through creativity, persistence, and Mama’s support, Francesca finds her gift, makes peace with the bullies and learns that ‘Home is where the heart is.’

GRANDMA'S APRON

When an Italian American girl visits her grandmother, she experiences a sense of discovery, a connection to her grandmother, and the richness of her family’s culture through the many functions, joys, and surprises of her grandma’s apron, an ordinary, everyday item transformed into an extraordinary symbol of love.

EVERYWHERE

Rose, a child with a stay-at-home father and a world traveler working mother, gains pride and self-confidence by sharing her love of EVERYWHERE, the places where her mother travels, by presenting postcards, describing her favorite souvenirs, and teaching international greetings to her classmates.

OUR FRIENDSHIP IS BIGGER THAN THE SKY

June and Jackie, two best friends, use their creativity and expand their imaginations in a daily, outdoor ritual, observing clouds and drawing. When Jackie shares that she is moving away, the girls make an unexpected decision about how to share and remember their special time together.

NEW BEGINNINGS

When a young child moves to a new home, she is scared about the change but accepts the new beginnings while making a place in her heart for cherished memories.
